Womens Time Trial Bike
Designed for the smallest rider I
have built for yet. A small cyclist requires small frame, the small 650c wheels compliment this and reduce the compromise of
angles often found on very small 700c wheel bikes. With a small
light cyclist the selection of components has to be light as the
output of power is lower. A designer select version
of Columbus Ultrafoco was used that is light and built into a tight
compact frame its also very stiff. Components
were selected to suit - duraace hubs on velocity semi profiled rims
using 24 custom length Sapim CX-ray spokes. Radial lacing front and
2 cross/radial rear. Although very light these wheels are strong
given the size and weight of the rider. |
