The Plug 2:
After a successful product launch one year ago the Plug was developed even further.
One of these evolutions is the extended functionality of the TopCap, which allows charging the Apple iPhoneŽ without a special cable.
The possibility to connect the Plug II directly to an E-Bike battery is also a great built in feature.
The revolutionary change however is the integration of the entire electronic assembly, which has been in the head tube cartridge so far, in the TopCap.
The aluminum housing is totally enclosed with a sealing liquid and therefore protected from humidity in the best possible way. The assembly now is far easier - the cable must be connected with the dynamo hub and the USB port with the TopCap - it's that simple!

Since scratches cannot be avoided during the long lifetime of the Plug II, we have also used a corrosion-resistant 6061 aluminum alloy.
Accessories:
Amba supply the Plug 2 with a special steerer wedge to replace the star fangled nut used on most bikes.
This makes the internal cable routing (especially after hub dynamo connectors are fitted to the wire) far easier.
You can even swap the Plug 2 from bike to bike relatively quickly once set up.
